Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis, affecting millions of people worldwide and thousands here in Ireland. It can affect any joint in the body, but it commonly affects the weight-bearing joints of the knees and hips. In this conversation with Gráinne O’Leary, CEO of Arthritis Ireland, Dr Barry Sheane, consultant rheumatologist at the Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin, discusses living with #osteoarthritis and answers key questions about the condition.
